Property Sauce is a trading name of Sure Lets and Manage Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 16613860, registered office Lancaster House, Brownrigg Drive, Cramlington NE23 6UN. The website assistant
The assistant on this site is an automated conversation tool. To confirm you are the tenant of a home we manage, it asks for your tenancy reference and sends a one-time code to the email address or mobile number we already hold for you. It then records what you tell it about a repair or a tenancy question, together with any photographs you attach, and raises that with our team.
Conversations are processed by a third-party language model provider on our instructions to generate the assistant's replies. We send only the content of the conversation and, once verified, your name and the address of the property, not your wider file. We do not use your conversations to train models. Repair reports are stored with your tenancy record for as long as we manage the property and for six years afterwards.
Do not type bank details, passwords or card numbers into the assistant. It does not need them and will not ask.
Who we share data with
- Contractors, so they can carry out a repair (name, address, phone number and the fault only)
- Referencing, deposit protection and right to rent providers
- Utility companies and the local authority at the start and end of a tenancy, where the law or the tenancy requires it
- Our accountants, insurers, solicitors and IT providers, under contract
- The Property Redress Scheme, a court or tribunal, or a regulator, where required
- The landlord of the property you rent, to the extent needed to manage it
We do not sell personal data. Where a provider is outside the UK, we rely on adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Tenancy, client and property records: six years after the relationship ends, because that is the limitation period for most claims. Unsuccessful applications: twelve months. Website logs: ninety days. Marketing consents: until withdrawn.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict processing, and ask for it in a portable format. Email contact@propertysauce.co. We respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The assistant keeps its conversation in your browser's session storage so it survives a page reload; that data does not leave your device except as part of the conversation you send.
